Process for reporting and investigating bias incidents and symbols of hate. The terms “bias incidents”, “symbols of hate” and “persons impacted” are defined in Administrative Policy ADM-A012.

Teen Dating Violence INS-A013

Love is Respect Hotline

Confidential support for teens, young adults, and their loved ones seeking help, resources, or information related to healthy relationships and dating abuse. Advocates are available 24-7.

Immediately report child abuse by calling 1-855-503-SAFE (7233).

Child Abuse Prevention Resources

Information you'll be asked to provide in the report

Name, date of birth, race and gender for every adult and child involved.
Relationship of the alleged perpetrator to the child. When the next contact may be.
Contact info for those involved.
Description of the suspected abuse. Include any physical, mental or sexual injuries. Tell when and where.
Description of the child’s disability or special needs, if any.
Cultural or language considerations, ethnicity and American Indian or Alaska Native heritage.

As a mandatory reporter, by law, you must make a report right away. For mandatory reporting rules see ORS 419B.005 to 0025 or the DHS website.

Internet Filtering & Monitoring

Internet Filtering

Technology and Information Services operates within the guidelines set by various policies and laws. Internet access provided by the district is run through an internet filter that will attempt to block various content.

Which sites are configured to be blocked or allowed while students are in school are based on federal requirements and decisions of the Website Advisory Team. Parents have the ability to monitor and manage their child’s out of school activity using Go Guardian.
